A group of UK students waited outside the ticket office at Memorial Coliseum on Sept. 4, 1984, for the “good” seats to become available for UK football’s 1984 season opener at Commonwealth Stadium. The group had been waiting since 8:30 a.m. for the release of tickets at 6 p.m. for sections 208 and 210. The line on the left was for the rest of the seats.
