Commonwealth Stadium expansion in Jan. 1999 as both endzones enclosed. Also added were 40 suites, 10 in each corner of the stadium. The expansion, whcih cost $27.6 million, also included new video boards, new scoreboards and additional restrooms and concession stands. It also raised seating capacity to 67,942.
