Penni and Snow, 1950

Penni, a 3-year-old male penguin, was shown with his master and trainer, Homer Snow. Penni and Snow appeared at the Ben Ali theater the week of April 3, 1950. Snow was a veteran animal trainer who started his career in the 1920s by trapping sea lions off the Southern California Coast. Published in the Lexington Herald on April 7, 1950.
