New development on Man o’ War at I-75, 1993

Posted on June 28, 2017 | in Uncategorized | by

Preliminary work on the development on the southwest corner of I-75 and Man o’ War Boulevard, which would be directly across from Hamburg Pavilion, in August 1993. Man o’ War Boulevard runs horizontally, with what is now Pleasant Ridge Drive running into the new development at center. The site now contains hotels, restaurants, gas stations and a subdivision. Today across Man o’ War Boulevard, which was extended from Bryant Road in 1988, Target, Old Navy and Dick’s Sporting Goods are some of the retail stores that line I-75 on the west side. On the east is Costco and Cabela’s. Today more than half of the 2,000-acre Hamburg Place farm has now been developed.
