Kentucky forward James Lee put up a shot against Arkansas in the opening round of the 1978 NCAA Final Four in St. Louis, March 25, 1978. The Wildcats defeated the Razorbacks 64-59 and went on to defeat Duke 94-88 in the championship game. UK, under coach Joe B. Hall finished the season 30-2, winning the SEC and bringing home the school’s fifth NCAA championship.
