Movie star Dustin Hoffman visited the University of Kentucky April 25, 1968 while campaigning for presidential candidate Sen. Eugene McCarthy. Hoffman, at time, had been nominated for an academy award for his role in “The Graduate”. He found himself surrounded by women and signing autographs at the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority house before speaking at the Dormitory Complex Cafeteria and the McCarthy campaign headquarters.
