Kentucky Governor John Y. Brown Jr., wearing a blue and red sports coat and cap representing both the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville greeted UL coach Denny Crum prior to the NCAA Mideast Regional final in Knoxville, TN, March 26, 1983. UL won the first “Dream Game” between the two state schools 80-68. At right rear is Gov. Brown’s wife, Phyllis George Brown. The Wildcats take on the Cardinals in Rupp Arena today 1pm.
