Natural Bridge trail repairs, 1987

Kentucky Department of Park employees Jeff Raines of Bowen, Gary Johnson and Charlie Rowe, both from Winchester, make improvements September 28, 1987 to the original trail to Natural Bridge. They were making repairs to the trail, which has been in use since 1930, to improve its passage and stop erosion. The materials were brought in by National Guard helicopters. Charlie Bradshaw, 1962

UK football coach Charlie Bradshaw, unhappy with the way blocking assignments were being carried out, demonstrated the technique on Paul Pisani, a sophomore from Decatur, Ala., at practice on April 17, 1962. Bradshaw was the UK football coach from 1962 to 1968 posting a record of 25–41–4.

Chubby Checker, 1981

Singer Chubby Checker performed on September  5, 1981 at the breeding season auction charity at the Hyatt Regency, downtown  Lexington, Ky. Checker was famous for the dance The Twist . The breeding season of 14  stallions were auctioned off. Funds from the benefit went to the Ephraim  McDowell Cancer Research Foundation for the construction of a cancer research  and treatment center.
