UK’s last win over Florida, 1986

The University of Kentucky's Marc Logan got a ride off the field on the shoulders of running backs coach Greg Nord after the Wildcat's 10-3 victory over the University of Florida on Senior Day, November 15, 1986 at Commonwealth Stadium. The win snapped a six-game losing streak against the Gators. Unfortunatily for Kentucky they have not beated Florida since that game 24 years ago. This was Logan's last game at home. He is seventh on UK's career rushing list with 1,769 yards. He went on to play 10 years in the NFL, winning a Super Bowl with San Francisco in 1995. Photo by Charles Bertram | staff
